Final is Finally Over!

I took my final last Thursday. I think I did ok and might have a B in the class. We'll see when grades are avaliable on the internet. I am now footloose and fancy free for three months so now it's playtime! Of course it is also clean-the-house-time too.

Jason said I'm suppose to write about the girls and soccer. Saturday both girls had games at 9am, but it was raining, and I thought for sure that they would cancel them. I was with Jamie in Trussville for a tournament which was only cancelled for lightning (after I saw it for the third time) and a tornado warning. They did, however, play the first game that morning in the rain. Jamie likes the idea of playing soccer but lacks the drive to run after the ball and take it away from the other team to win. She is already making plans for next year to play softball or rather tossing the idea around. When she asked me about which she should play next year, I just told her to do something she likes.

I heard Katherine played in the rain also. I think she can be very good at soccer, but her asthma slows her down sometimes. Personally, I think she could use a little more aggression in her soccer playing too. She told me that they won and played well. I'll get to see her play this Saturday at another tournament in Trussville. It's really weird though because her team will play 4 games that last 10 minutes each. I guess it is so they won't get too tired.

Jeffery is a litte mess maker. Yesterday I just watched everyone trying to keep him out of everything and was glad to have a break from it. After the nail polish all over my 14 year-old backpack and the carpet in my bedroom and the cinnamon all over the kitchen floor, I just do my best to make sure doors are locked and know what he is doing all the time. Actually, now that I think about it I realize that during both nail polish episodes, I was working on something. The first time Jeffery got into my nightstand and opened bottles of nail polish and poured it out all over the carpet and my backpack, I was making dinner early so we could go to Ethan's baseball game. I didn't have the time or patience to clean it up. I showed my classmates my backpack and they said it looked like I did it on purpose. Jeffery is a great artist. The second time (the thought did cross my mind to throw away all the nail polish after the first incident, but I just threw away what he opened and dumped all over the place) I was in the shower and stepped out of the shower when I smelled that strong odor. I was trying to get Jeffery out of that mess all over the carpet while dripping wet with and towel wrapped around me. Frankly, I didn't know which to do first, clean up the nail polish or dry myself and get dressed. All in a day's work here on the homefront.
