Midterm Madness

Am I really still sane after all that cramming on Monday and Tuesday? I think so. I always call Kathy whenever I have a question about anything math related. Usually, she knows the answer or how to find out the answer. She is definitely a BIG help just because she can guide me through whatever I'm studying at the time. I know I would not be able to get through my classes without her! She has more faith in me than I do most of the time which is a comfort to me. Thanks for listening to my problems and providing answers to most of my math questions. I love you, Kathy.

Fall Ball

Jason came home from work and decided to play football for Family Home Evening. After supper, everyone but Ethan went to play. He didn't want to eat his food and missed almost the whole game.

Ready for Prayers and Scriptures?

We got home way too late one night and Katherine and Jeffy just couldn't stay awake one minute longer to have family prayer and read scriptures.

Here is a crazy picture of ALL (yes, Becky I can say all because I have more than 2) the kids.

Crazy Thumbsucker

Do you want to hear a funny story?

We were kneeling down tonight to say prayers before bedtime. We had just put the scriptures up and everyone was in place except Jeffery. I wanted him to stay by me so I can keep an eye on him. He didn't like that too much and wanted to kneel by Jamie. He got mad and sad, so he started sucking his thumb. Well, I wanted him to fold his arms like we're supposed to do and he didn't. I kind of forced him to do so and let go. Hopefully I can paint the picture well enough so that you see what he is doing through my words.
So, Jeffery is folding his arms and Jamie begins to pray. I glance over at him to see what he is doing. Then he slowly unfolds one of his arms and turns his wrist and leans into his thumb so that he can suck on it. Well, I see it and catch him and I put his arms back. Well, Jamie is into the prayer now. So now we have a moment of solemnity and seriousness. This makes it worse. Jeffery then thinks I don't see him and continues to move his arm and wrist and leans into his thumb, all very slowly. Well, that did it. I am about to bust out laughing because of him and the attitude were supposed to be in. Jeffery sees me laughing as quiet as I can and he begins to laugh, also. This doesn't help matters at all. I look over at Jamie hoping that she wraps it up soon, so I can seek relief. Then Jeffery says giggling, during the prayer, "you funny daddy". Oh man that was tough to sit through and hilarious at the same time.
